Hi There, we were also having a bit of trouble getting a room at the Dynasty for october School Holidays, but I've managed to get a booking with octopus travel. Qantas also had availability but were more expensive. The cost to stay at the Dynasty is inflated in my opinion but the kids love it and we got good airfares and a good deal on a villa for the 1st part of our stay so overall it works out quite reasonable.
You might need to book 2 x interconnecting rooms if the family rooms are fully booked.

If you are not keen on staying at the Dynasty probably the next best family hotel is the Padma or even the Bali Garden in a family room.
