If you were at the Kuta Paradiso was it next to the art markets on Katika Plaza up the road from Centro.
Hard to believe that this hotel has become a dump. Was only there in January having a look around and it looked just fine to me however never went into the rooms this trip.
But as you said you have been to Bali before and you know you were at the right place.
Legian Paradiso on Legian Street is a real dump lucky you weren't there.
Ends well in the end, money back. Can't ask for better than that.
