This does not surprise me ! I have "emailed" & booked all our JULY accom myself.
And I have to say.....some places have been FANTASTIC , communication, via email eg: "Ellies", "Rumah Cantik", "Gardenia Guesthouse", "Poinicana Resort", "Puri Bambu"!!! All these places their emails have been clear, precise, personal, gracious, even when you ask, they have neg their rate via email. Very up front & clear. Some using just the email as yours/their reservation ! Like the Bali of old.
Whats happening with some of the Bali Hotels......its like you are dealing with Hotels in Vegas ! And their prices.....WOW!!???
So your story does not surprise me......I would to look elsewhere. Dont give them your booking....they dont deserve your custom !
