We fly in 2weeks and I have purchased the airplane plugs for my son as he always has problems with his ears.
Will let you know a result when we return.
Last year on our return flight he was in tears as the plane descended.
The Garuda Hostess gave him 2 plastic drinking cups with tissues in the bottom soaked with boiling water, she told him to hold these over each ear.
This must have done something in regards to helping with the pressure as he felt quite a bit of relief.
He did end up with an ear infection and thus antibiotics,(from all the swimming I suppose).
I will also give him Demazin before we leave this year and he is also using Beconaise Nasal Spray. This is an ongoing problem for him.
