Hi, Why not try Sanur, its quiet and perfect for couples, but with many restaurants/bars for an evening out. I cannot fault the food with the majority of restaurants and bars, and they are all reasonably priced. If you want something more upmarkert dining there are also a few to choose from. Romantic evenings dining on the beach, and most people staying in Sanur seem to be in bed by 11pm There are some really nice hotels on the Beach, try the Bali Hyatt for luxury, or Puri Santrian, Gryia Santrian or Segara Village at the other end of Sanur. There are watersports available on the beach, and plenty of places for spa and massage. I think Sanur would be a place for you to relax and enjoy the Bali culture, with out the full on nightlife/bars of Kuta. Hope this helps, if you want any more suggestions, let me know, Clare
