Poppies Cottages full - alternatives ??

Hi Everyone

Friends were hoping to stay at Poppies Cottages but it is fully booked. Looking for suggestions for similar style hotel - fairly central location, close to beach and shops.

I normally stay at Masa Inn - probably a bit low key for this couple, but they don't want a large, multi-storey hotel either.

Any suggesions ??
