Wednesday we met my friend who arrived last night and her 2 friends (all staying at Casa Padma ) as they headed off to Carrefour and Alta Moda...got to get the hard work done first !!
We did Zanzibar for Breakkie this morning, from Melati it's a gentle stroll down the laneway to the beach front roadway. Booked for dinner tonight for us and friends.
Lunch was Wayan and Friends then teen 2 and I ordered some carved wooden signs to be made from the guy across from the Melasti (sort of) .One of those things I have always wanted to get for my folks and never got around to !!
Home and relax then a late arvo treatment at Inner Glow (so handy to our rooms ) then down to Zanzibar for tea. Have to say it wasn't to rave about tonight, our waitress wasn't too friendly but the food was average too......Dessert was sensational though ! I LOVE the Crème Brulee MMMM
Thursday back to Tommy's for breakkie, change $ then teens off to Waterbom and I went walking, popped into Kusnadi and Baleka and got pamphlets and prices but couldn't get to see any rooms.
Walked back along Legian st to Padma st buying sandals and silver on the way.
Had some Reflexology at Kenko on the way, then oredered some leather cuffs at Tommy's leather in different colours.
Walked to Warung Kartini for lunch and wasn't disappointed...so tasty so cheap !!!Ran into a guy Jody who owns some bungalows just down the lane form Kartini that he has just developed/renovated.They don't have a pool at this stage which is a bit of a bummer but they looked nice from the outside and would be good for the long termer. Cheap too.
Girls back from Waterbom and off to Inner Glow for 2.5 hr treatments !! They are really getting into this !!
Tonight we went to Drops for tea which was really good as always.I thought dessert was a let down though, not as good as Zanzibars !!
