Good eating places

As I mentioned previously we didnt have a bad meal in Bali. Here are some of our favourites

Yutz - went there totally from recommendations on the forum.Hubby hanging out for a steak by then and wasnt disappointed.Came with a salad that came out as an entree. While the steak wasnt huge it met his citeria in every way.medium rare, juicy and tender.Had yummy mash with it.I had chicken that was nice to but no drooling like hubby!
Also recieved a complementary frozen margherita on arrival. The icecream desserts were flying out too.they looked sensational but couldnt fit in!

Indo national- went there on Skiggys suggestion.Great again.Hubby had pork fillet which he is still raving about.I had prawns that were beautiful.mr polici was roaming around in there selling dvds.he was a good laugh .Apparantly he has been selling in there for many years .

Biancos- My favourite when the Padma restaurant and still fabulous. The chicken/spinach dish i had was sensational.went there with a group from the forum and Fiona went as far as saying it was the best chicken she had eaten..Think Dennisc was only one not totally happy with their meal that night.returned a couple of times.Best place to watch sport.screens everywhere.

Febris - good old fashioned burgers.Everthing on there tasted great.prices were reasonable.nice cocktails.

Melasti Resort, legian - Besides breakfast was the only time we ate at our hotel.Hubby had tuna steak for lunch and according to him it was cooked to perfection(he fancys himself a cook so go with his opinions!)

Posers restaurant- located across the road from Biancos on the corner.Am sure it was something else when we were there in 05.I had stuffed pork rolls.Yummo and plenty of!!Once again hubby blown away by his meal of stuffed prawns.Took a photo of this one as it looked so good.

Rama Garden Hotel- mixed skeweres and nasi goreng.Very nice and very attentive staff.Went there the day we arrived, the restaurant was half ripped up for renovations.the day we left it was completely finished including a whole new bar, floor and tv screen that all went up in the space of three hours!Another good place to watch sport of your choice

Bali Rock- club sandwhiches,is it just me or do these taste totally different in bali, a flavour all of there own,.Great cocktails for 50 000.inckluding frozen margheritas where each layer is a different colour. Also in big 'jam jars'

thats all i can think of at the moment,You might have gathered i like my cocktails when in bali!!

Places thet come to mind for those are,Hula Cafe(2 for 1 between shows)Legends 2 for 1 between 1 and 10pm(bali moon).Bali Rock and wayan and friends. Most places had good deals if you looked.Normally drink wine or brandy back home so options for that not good over there.

*my favourite has always been arak atak, towards the end of our trip some places not selling arak as 25 balinese had died from drinking a different type of pure arak.so some places being very cautious!these included rama and the dynasty*

Next installment,trips,places,people .
