colour tattoos.....=P

Hey guys,

Sorry to ask this question I know it's been asked a billion times but,
I am looking to get a small coloured tattoo when I go to Bali in July. Can anyone tell me their stories about their tattoos? I.e. whether they stay the same even after a few years? I heard from a friend that he got a tatt in Bali. It was lumpy when he first got it and now after a couple of years it has faded and doesn't look the same.
Has this happened to anyone?
