I too hadn't been to Bali for 5 years and was very interested to see if Bali had changed in that time (JBR coming soon).
Some things never change of course,but the biggest change for me is the amount of development that has gone into the strip that runs along the beach at Kuta (Jalan Raya Kuta I think)...no surprise really of course,being the main beach drag.But that really stood out as a major change......oh! and Bintangs are twice the price.
