What does a 40 foot container cost to ship to West Australia? I just had one shipped to Calgary, Canada and the cost was $7200USD. I think our container was abit more expensive because we had lots of stone carvings that required a crate to be built for each of them.
I was in Cancun (actually the Mayan Riviera) a few years ago and almost every single handicraft shop was selling Balinese items. I think it is a catch 22 though. I know the prices were really high in Mexico but at least the Balinese are benefiting from some sales. I guess it comes down to whether these shop owners are paying a fair price to the Balinese or whether they are just grinding them as low as possible.
