Howdy, we stayed there a a few years ago. Have been to Bali a couple of times since but wouldn't stay there again. The people were lovely and it is a real Bali setting. I guess it depends on expectations and budget. Unfortunately the really lovely places in Ubud are really expensive. It was lovely walking down to breaky and the breaky was ok. Our room however had so many cochroaches and they were the biggest I had ever seen. I had to send my hubbie in to take care of it. Our bathroom was dark like a dungeon. I had visited the hotel previously knowing people there so I think maybe different room standards. We also saw a big snake by the pool. Lots of stairs. Friendly but not 'honeymoon' material!
