Myself, My sister and my dad, each got a 'henna' tattoo whilst in bali a couple of years ago. about 15 mins after the goop was applied on our skin my sister and i were complaining of a burning sensation, we washed the stuff of straight away and our skin was red, and had little bumps. But our father who had to prove he was a big man, kept the stuff on for the full hour like they told us to do. once he washed his off we notice that the tattoo turned out the way it was suppose to but it was all lumpy. 2 days later when the blackness of the tattoo faded we noticed that he had massive blisters all over his arm. We went home the day after, and my father had pus oozing out of his sores, we had to go to the hospital that night we got in because his was in alot of pain, (not such a big man now lol). the pus cleared up eventually but my father had a scar for yonks, and if you look close you can still see it.

so yeah dont get them. =]
