Dennisc is totally correct, you will find it impossible to shut your suitcase to come home. I took my 15yr old niece last year and I have 3 boys, so I was pretty amazed and educated at how well and for how long a teenage girl can shop !! On top of that there are lots of touristy places that girls love as much as guys. Put in your request for a day at the safari and marine park and take your bathers, lots of very cute interactive baby animals there and amuzement park type rides. You can book to go white water rafting and elephant riding and there are several companies that do a downhill bike ride thru villages that is both fun and educational (learn about rice planting and village life). Take a portable DVD player because you can easily waste a million hours around the pool watching one of the 200 DVD's you will no doubt buy being a teen. They are about $1 each, and there goes many hours looking in all the DVD shops without even thinking about clothes and jewelery shops. DO NOT pack more than 2 pair of shorts and 2 T's and underwear because you will not believe how much there is to buy. People just go and buy the next days wear !! If you pack too much there leaves no space for your shopping haul. Most teens go with their basics in only a backpack and buy a light weight bag over there to return with - full. They have lovely cheap bra's and knickers in Matahari's too, marvelous shoes by 100's, and I could go on.... you will not be bored and will be begging to return for more in less than a year !!
