driver to sumbawa

Me and 2 friends are going to bali next week and want to organise a driver to take us too sumbawa for a surfing trip.
Has anyone done this or can recommend a reliable driver?
I have been recommended one driver but his best offer is US$500 for 12 days + petrol + ferry.
I was told by a friend that it should be about US$30 a day +P+F
