It's right at the front with a huge window facing the sea. We stayed there for a week 2 years ago as a freebie for attending a time-share presentation & enjoyed it.

The food is comparatively expensive. They have buffets often. Getting around was easy as we hired a motorcycle. Apart from using it to go to restaurants there are several great places to visit in the area. It is also pleasant to walk around the dirt tracks off the main road.

If you like fishing, it's easy to organise a cheap fishing trip with the guys out the front (sadly, it was too stormy when we were there). I understand the proprietors now have a glass-bottomed boat & you can do a scuba course there.

rOOM 1 is quite large with a kitchen area - microwave, toaster, kettle, sink & mini fridge with necessary crockery & utensils. BUT the power was poor - took about 30 mins to boil a small amount of water. May have improved.

There is a little sitting area out the front of the room overlooking the ocean with a patio overlooking the pool. Fab views from the roof bar& spa.

The decor is more French Provincial than Balinese but we liked the quirkiness & the room was very comfy (we were there for Nyepi). I don't know about other rooms but #1 is excellent. DVD player & a limited library. Some books. It's owned by an extended English family with a lovely golden retriever dog.

Plenty of info on CD in the archives.
