The bay at dreamland has a bit of an angle which funnels in the swell and is best ridden at low tide, so depending on your ability you would have to consider swell size. Bingin is a perfect reef with a very small take off area so again you wave ratio per session may suffer with lack of ability as it does get crowded.Wave size only increases as you go towards Ulu. The fact that you are looking to hire a board suggests you may be better to stay around kuta/Legian and just do your day trips to the bukit when the swell is within your boundaries. The reef at Bingin is pretty hungry and I have seen and heard of many capable surfers holidays stopped over the years with holes in head, broken bones, even death in big seas - so be aware
