Loved the location. Beach, shops and restaurants really easy to get to. The pool was fantastic and I thought the vibe was really good. Good mix of age groups and nationalities. Not too noisy. I think the only downside is the rooms are a bit tired. But as they are doing renos that will soon be rectified. Looking to stay there next time.
Just a tip though - if you are booking a double room with a double bed in mind you may want to chase it up with the hotel that they will have one available. When we were there we were given a twin despite our travel agent booking a double for our wedding anniversary (obviously their idea of a anniversary celebration is different to mine lol!) While we were there we saw another two couples on other days complain about the same thing. I think with the renos they were short on double beds. Oh well - that's Bali!
