Hi Guys,
Only just found this forum and have been reading through...I'm heading to Bali again on the 19th June and just wanted to ask a couple of questions, thanks in advance :P...
I've been to Bali a few times but not since 07' and we're staying at a new hotel this time...Can anyone tell me where the Kuta Lagoon is in relation to the Bali Mandira (that's where we usually stay, but heard the kuta lagoon was great, and the thought of stepping outta bed into the pool won me over lol :D)?
The way it looks on the map it looks like ya sorta go up Yudistira > take a right down garlic lane (can't remember the name of this little street sorry, its got the fat clothes shop that i go to in it...arrr Big is Good (BIG ;P) I think its called :P its the one with all the little stores on it...narrow it down for ya lol?) > take a left up Melasti and it should be off on the right somehwere..? Just wondering if ya can get into the hotel from one of the side streets or if we have to walk up to JL Legian to get in and out of the hotel? Sorry if thats a pain in the butt question, just trying to get my bearings for when we get there :)
Any pointers for this years haggling? Have the prices gone up too much on items etc...don't wanna underprice anyone (although they'll soon tell me if I start too low lol). Can someone give me a rough guide to the prices for these items below in Rp so I can tell the family how much they're going to have to cough up before I go this time (instead of holding their things for ransom til they hand over the cash rofl:D)...just market prices, not store prices of course lol

Also, can anyone recommend someone to make us some clothes (of the fat girl variety ;P) we've got the fabric (got an Aunt who runs a Spotlight and practically forced us to take it over with us!) and how much time we'd have to give them to make 20-odd shirts and work pants etc
Thanks heaps again peeps, I can't wait to get back to Bali...love the people, love the booze, love the place!! (new travel slogan ;P).
