Hi we have been staying at the melasti for quite a few yrs and love it, yes it may be a bit tired in places, but the room sizes are the best we've seen,pool great, staff friendly, balinese atmosphere,which we love, but I wouldn't stay in a standard room, we have always stayed in superior, which is still a very good price compared to most hotels. The location is the best, the best restaurants around, so cheap and so nice, perfect location right on the beach.hope this helps a bit.great for kids,nice and relaxed atmosphere
