I read recently that there's been disputes between the joint owners of Balisani Padma. One of them has done something sneaky and taken over running the place and some court case has now ruled that the hotel be sold - as well as all the furnishings etc (sounded like separately from the article I read).
I don't think I'd be booking there for the near future, based on that. But having also been shown through one of the rooms there last August, I wouldn't let a dog stay there. The bathroom was black with mould - completely disgusting.
