I stay at the Ramayana every year with my family and we are all young women. The restaurants and shopping in the area are great. Yes I agree it is not so close to the night life but it is just a cab away. The Ramayana is a beautiful hotel and whenever we go we always meet young people to have a chat with. I'd prefer clean and comfortable to dirty and gross.
