Well arrived in Bali very late Saturday 30th May. We were delayed a little in Perth so once we had got to Bali it was chaos at the airport. Thankyou to all that recommended Hadi for VIP Voa. Fantastic. Airport was hot and sticky, Japan airlines and Jarkarta flights had just landed and there were people everywhere being sprayed, checking Swine Flu cards. Well Hadi picked us up and we were out of the airport very quick. He had also arranged transport to hotel.
Hotel we are staying in - Breezes - fantastic. Really lovely hotel, great atmosphere. Will stay here again. Rooms are cleaned very promptly every morning and beds are turned down every night. Very funny last night when kids went to their rooms the teddies were tucked into bed with bedtime stories opened at a page with teddys arm holding the page open.
Location is good there is a little shop next door for all your water, beer, chips, shampoo etc etc that you will ever need. Beach just down the road and just a quick walk up the road you have all your bars eats and nightlife. By the way ladies there is no hair dryer in room so make sure you pack one if staying here.
Everyone is friendly at hotel staff are great. We had been upgraded to pool view rooms and as promised they had organised our rooms to be together as traveling with two children. Lots to do at hotel with activities every day for kids and adults. Currently poolside playing bingo. When theres a Cocktail up for grabs so everyones in.
Lazed the day away by the pool on the Sunday - bascially did nothing as still tired from the day before and the late flight. Lost all time factors and thought it was time we have a Bintang. It felt like lunchtime - but after buying the beer realised it was only 10.15am in the morning. Well as they say were all on Bali time. Later in the day headed down to S&S for the sunset and after power went out so made it to a little resturant called the bestest Cafe. Biggest Kebab I ever seen. not bad food at all considering the power had gone out.
Well today went and got pampered - If anybody is looking for a great facial, Miracle clinic Kuta Galleria is the go. 2 hours of bliss. Best diamond dermabrasion and facial for 2 hours at a wee cost of 600,000rp. Got the guts then to do a little botox on the way out at around 90,000 Rp per unit. And yes it hurt a little but doctors great and make you feel very comfortable.
Well 12 more days left to go cant wait till tomorrow
