I have used the ANZ travel card on several occasions. The good thing is you get two cards, so if you lose one you will have a backup. The fee is about $2.50US per transaction if using an ATM but i am pretty sure that if you use the visa option ie: at hotel or shop you are not charged for the transaction. I also leave one card in Bali with a friend so when i need to make a deposit for accommodation they withdraw and pay for me, heaps cheaper and safer compared to sending credit card details over internet or telegraphic transfers.
