I always take cash.
With ANZ you can get a free "Personal saver" account attached to your normal account or access account
I use this with a small amount in it for backup,it uses the same card but details are different so if it does get scammed or skimmed at an ATM they only have access to the small amount in the saver section.
My personal saver has separate PIN and I have to type in the account number when it asks for "which account".
I would be interested in this card too though.
