I personally really love Lovina. There is plenty to see up there, eg. Hot Springs, Waterfalls, Buddhist Monastery, Coffee Plantations, see the old Dutch Capitol of Singaraja, you can go on Dolphin, Fishing & Snorkelling Trips. A lot quieter than the Kuta/Legian areas, but that depends on what you like? A nice little place to stay is Villa Agung - small boutique hotel with a small pool, great food(kitchen open all day for guests and drop ins), right on the beach. Use local Bemos to go into main Lovina area or hire a driver to take you around(can be arranged at Villa Agung). Cheers Cheryl
