the NZ media today that QANTAS is going to charge for these seats too.

I shot off a note to Fairfax NZ suggesting they may like to look into it a little deeper.

I flew from Singapore to Vietnam a couple of years back and scored the exit row both times.
Both times I was asked specifically if I would be prepared to accept responsibility to open the door in case of emergency and was then shown how to open the door and also requested not to take my shoes off.
In answer to my question the attendant said they will move children or any one infirm from the exit rows.

Now that QANTAS is going to charge ( Jetstar already do ) how can they move people who have paid the extra?

They are just greedy icepicks.

On the way up we prepaid meals from Sydney to Denpasar at a cost of NZD 37.00 and were annoyed to find that the same meals could be bought on board for AUD 9.00. Jetstar have ignored my three mails seeking clarification.
Beware of prepaying meals to a bunch of thieves.
