I'm always skeptical when sentences begin with something along the lines of...."I'm not prejudice...but", "I don't want to criticize.... but", "I don't want to hurt your feelings.... but" or around here "I'm not flaming.....but" because almost invariably the speaker goes on to do just what he claims not to be doing.
