A few years ago you could buy 25mg codeine at any chemist over the counter in Thailand.
A few months ago it was suggested on this forum that the same applied to Bali with codeine?
If you buy Panadeine "Forte" in Bali it is illegal to bring them back to Australia without a prescription receipt.
Years ago the mother of an Australian family was deported from Greece for entering with a prohibited substance (codine) She only had Panadeine but it contains codeine.
Why risk taking it overseas? If you can buy it over the counter in Bali then Buy it there.
You can buy ephedrine(sp) over the counter quite legally in Bali as asthma medication but its illegal in Australia because it can be used to make Rock.
