fact that two wars, SARS World trade bombings and a couple of bombs held hotel prices at unrealistic levels for years ( while all the time rates in Australia, for example continued their upward spiral ). Compound that with rising wages, doubling of power prices and other imputs and you have a big catch up increase in rates.

Is their really a problem with Indonesian owned businesses getting a realistic return on capital?

We travelled extensively throughout SE Asia when our kids were small and never expected to cram them in our room. Do they let you do that in Australia.

All I'm saying is why do you think you should set the rules and isn't it about time that hotel rates came into line with costs.
