About 2 or maybe 3 years ago coming through customs had everything to be declared in the one bag - surrounded by 4 chair cushions i had bought for my dinning chairs when the customs officer saw them - he asked what was in them - we had no idea - so he cut the edge of a seam and pulled out what looked like wool - he said that it was untreated wool- these chair pads where in individual plastic bags - he confiscated them. so u never can tell what they will check or take, same officer let a friends daughter through with small bongo drums, so who knows. With wood stuff we have been told to spray it put it in a plastic bag and put it in the freezer for a few hours or so to kill anything that may be living when you take it out of the freezer/fridge tap it to see if anything comes out.
Cheers
Lynda.
