go trough customs in Sydney from Vila (Vanuatu sp)with out a second glance.

Perth customs and quarantine can be very strict though!

I brought back honey from Tassi airport that was gift boxed and in sealed jars and it was confiscated by Perth quarantine, this same honey can be bought in some Perth shops?

We have some isolated "Borer" cases in Perth, one is in a suburb called Ellenbrook, the suburb was built on a pine plantation and many of the tall pines were kept as a feature of the suburb.

All pine trees in Ellenbrook now have to be cut down and burnt, and there are a lot of them!

Perhaps that is one reason they are so strict with wood items here?
