on the archives...I only use Manik...very professional and they have two salons(one at Dynasty, one on Jl Legian). I had a disaster here at a salon owned by an aussie but run by locals...they bleached my hair which came out orange...so of course I tell them it needs toner...so they rebleached and burn my scalp...still a lovely straw like orange...so it gets heated, I tell them they must tone it...so what do they do but apply more Goddammed bleach!!! I ended up with a bleeding raw scalp and lovely straw on my head...it then cost me over a million rupiah to be fixed by a euro hairdresser here(pre Manik days!) Worst thing was the skanky little hairdresser that wrecked it threatened me and tried to choke me cos I wouldn't pay...nice huh, called me an f'ing tourist dog!! The Australian owner came, told me I had to pay 50%.....all for such fabulous service!!!
