I always pay my driver (now a friend) 400,00rp for a full day and usually tip him as well. Don't forget that most drivers do not own the car or are even paying it off. The car is usually owned by his boss who gets at least 50% of the rate, petrol could take 25% depending on how far you are going which then leaves around 25% for the driver. Sometimes a car has to borrowed from a friend or relative so they are also paid. If I do use a another driver and tip him I always stress that the tip is for him. Stormy
