I bought a white king bed size quilt cover from the Ubud markets (upstairs). It cost about $Aus60. It was quite intricate heavy applique white stiching on white cotton, a tailors seconds I think. It took heaps of bleach to get the pencil marks out. I had to bring it home to do that.Balinese laundrys don't seem to use nappisan or bleach that I could see. Another king size quilt I bought was a beautifully made patch work(batik pieces). I think that was close to $45 Aus. I got that one from a road side stall.
There are a lot of hand painted childrens quilts around. They are done with motifs like dolphins or fish.
