Hi there. I had the same problem, believe it or not for Christmas/New Year accommodation (already). Many of the "faves" were booked out. I did a fair bit of research and from reading on here and other forums ended up choosing the Kuta Puri. It is at the very beach end of Poppies 1. I do prefer Legian/Seminyak, but did want to be close to the beach. Anyway, they have been great to deal with and their rates were good. Maybe give them a try. Cheers :)
