Seems that OzJet are being targeted as the bad guys - but from this I'd say that it's Indojet (the chartering company ) failure to pay bills that forced OzJet to stop operating Perth-Bali.
"OzJet Airlines today confirmed its decision to suspend operating its 737 fleet ex-Perth."
If you charter a fishing boat for a day, for example $1000, you need to recoup $1000+ from the guests to cover costs and make some money. If you charter an OzJet aircraft Perth-Bali, no idea how much, say $100,000 Indojet need to sell $100,000+ worth of tickets to pay the bills and then try to make profit.
Seems IndoJet have failed to do this - and with airfares coming down its no big suprise to me!
I have not flown Indo/Oz because Ive always had concerns like this froma charter arrangement, but I feel for those who have 'supposedly' booked/paid to go in the next few days/weeks - good luck in getting yer monies back or getting alternatives!
Personally I stick with Garuda!
