Try something called "Swap Magic". Its a boot disc with which you start your PS2 then swap the disk and insert your "copied" disk. Works great for me. It comes with some little plastic bits which you need to place over strategic switches on your PS2 to prevent them detecting a "copied" disk. You can buy it in Oz.
