I have taken a pair of my Black Pepper pants to be copied and have had quite a few pairs made over the last few years and they have turned out exactly as my Aussie ones. I paid about $21 a pair which I was very happy with as they are $60 in Aust. My husband had a beautiful suit made way back in 1996 for $100 that is still as good as the day it was made, and yes it has been worn quite a bit. Last trip he had work shorts made out of a really heavy twill. He took an old pair with him for size and then had loops for his hammer and extra pockets added and they cost $20 or $25.
In 2006 my daughter in law Amy had her leather stuff (boots, gloves and jackets) made at Captain Black Singasari JL Kuta. It is near Kuta Square most taxis know where it is. Amy had a gorgeous pair of knee high boots she loved in Australia but did not want to have to actually take them to be copied due to the extra weight taking them plus the new ones home again. So she took quite a few photos of her boots from all angles and showed them and they were made exactly like the photos she was really very pleased with them. All up they had made 2 pairs of knee hight boots with matching gloves and 2 jackets for about $320 AUD. Their jackets are beautiful. Amy chose a gorgeous pale green and Brenton's was 2 or 3 tones with his pattern taken of a Quicksilver jacket he took with him. Hope this helps you a bit.
