Jet* - Melb-Darwin-Denp - July

Have spoken to 2 operators at Jet* re this flight. One tells luggage loaded on plane in Melb & stays on to Denpasar, other says collect luggage Darwin re-check into international Darwin. Can anyone tell me which one is right??
Also where do we buy our duty free? Melb or Darwin - quite confused!!!
Also complained re 5 + hour sit in Darwin at 2.30 am - return flight change - they said if they received more complaints - it could possibly be reviewed!! - so if on same flight schedule mightn't hurt to complain!!
