I am in the same boat ,as I get bitten and nobody else does. The pests are not thick on the ground in the dry season, but as June is the start of the dry there would still be a few around. Most hotels spray insecticide every few weeks and usually it is safe in there. Restaurants have mossy coils under the tables, or they will supply them on request. Repellent works, and at night I always use it as well and wear long trousers. If you go to the botanical gardens at Ubud wear long trousers and long sleeves and repellent, I did not and regreted it. Lombok would have more of a problem than Kuta, because it is not as developed. Every time I go I get several bites but, touch wood, I have not had any ill effects. Have a great holiday.
