Day 10 last day in Bali - Happy Mothers Day!! Relaxing brekky and driven to airport at 10.30am. East exit from Bali, paid departure tax of RP150000, and caught flight to Singapore 1-00pm. Arrived in Singapore about 3-20pm and caught cab to Novotel Clark Quay for S$17-00. 1st impressions for Peter of Singapore are it is so nice and orderly and clean. 2nd trip for me.
Checked in to a lovely hotel right on the edge of Clark Quay and Singapore river. Got an upgrade to a king room with wonderful views over the city and river (couldn't have asked for a better room #1119) We could see across to Swisshotel Merchant Court right down to The Fullerton Hotel. Spent the evening strolling along one side of the river and back the other. Both of us are very tired and had McDonalds for dinner and sat on our balcony and watched the city of Singapore.
