The first time we came to Bali, the hotel was named Century Saphir I think. In the street (Jalan Dhyana Pura) there were still local warungs and on the grass lanes besides cows. I wonder how the surrounding is now? I know that there aren't any cows anymore ;-). But how would you describe the atmosphere there? As I read there are a lot bars, especially gay orientated. What was your impression? Is the street very crowded and noisy now?
Would be happy to get some current impression, because we are thinking to stay there again. We aren't so much out for real nightlife, but would like to have some nice dining options near by and bars where you could sip a drink or two.
