We have always used the Kodak shop near the Jayakarta however on our recent trip we found a much better place just a bit further up the same road - the exchange rate for NZ $ was always better and the service was much more professional. We also noticed that it was where all the local drivers / money changers were doing their exchanges!

Walking instruction - continue past Kodak post - follow curve around around past Captain Cook Bar & Courtyard Apartment - road then straightens and money changer is on the left just before the road curves again.
