We stayed here April last year, pool is great, lounges not so great (but still loungable), location good, rooms not so good. We stayed 2 nights in 2 Deluxe rooms (1 for myself, husband & 2 kids and another for my parents) Rooms were large but very basic and bathrooms pretty rank. Basically you get what you pay for. Breakfast was ok except the milk for tea & coffee it just smelt weird. Staff seemed quite friendly.
Balisandy Cottages I haven't looked at but are in a good position in Kuta.
