Garuda flight changes for Sept

I was not impressed to be informed by travel agent today that our direct flight to Bali on Sept 4th 09 will now be going via Jakarta. I think this is not good when you book a direct flight & paid in Feburary. Now its a 3hr wait in Jakarta, leave Sydney at 10am & get to Bali 8pm. Anyone else been informed about this.
