This restaurant spoilt the Safari Park stay for me as it was extremely overpriced and the servings were measley. I think the cheapest items on the menu were about 80000Rp and many much more than this. Cocktails were 100000Rp. The other restaurant inside the park is much cheaper but closes early, so I would either have a very early dinner or we organised a driver to take us into Ubud one evening where we ate and did some more shopping and spa treatments. I was so glad that I had a driver I could call who would come and pick us up as the hotel wanted to charge us $10US per head each way for the trip.
If your breakfast is included you eat in there anyway so you get to see the lions while you eat - but I would avoid eating any other meals there.
p.s. they tried to con us the first night and told us it is best to book to get good seats (so we did) and we were the only people in there for the whole night!!
p.s. the rooms are lovely, mozzies are bad, one night here is plenty. Our family room (222) over looked the pool, the others travelling with us had room numbers like 213 and were closer to the animals. You can see the animals from the pool and you can see the elephant trackers and tour trams as you swim also!
