We stayed at the Safari park last August.
We were fortunate enough to be invited to a buffet that night in the Tsavo restaurant. It was actually a closed function.
We paid for our alcohol, and a Bottle of Wine of the Gods shiraz was 500,000rp and small Bintangs 30,000rp (imported beers 60,000rp). I recall meals were quite expensive on the menu.
I dont imagine you have any choice, unless you take a pic-a-nic-ker.
If you had your own car there, you could drive out and find a warung maybe.
The experience was sensational and breakfast, which was included, was outstanding the next morning, watching the lions start their day. Mr and Ms Lion start their 'activities' early!
There is a moat abutting the glass walls of the restaurant and the lions come right up to the glass to drink from the stream. Awesome.
