We were walking along Jln. Danau Tambligan when we happened to pass the little tailor shop where I'd had a skirt made from my own fabric last time we were there. In fact I was wearing the skirt at the time.

There was Ibu Ketut smiling and waving as she wondered aloud if I needed any more skirts.

"Nice shirt" said Brian and I noticed she was wearing a very nice top; made from the remnants of my skirt fabric.

I don't know why this appealed to my sense of humour really. Well I am prone to outbursts of giggling, smiling and outright laughing anyway whilst in Bali so I stood outside the money changers waiting in the cool for Brian grinning away and hearing my mum's voice across the years saying "Waste not, want not hi always say 'illary". She had a habit of dropping her Hs and putting them on somewhere else. (I mean I thought my name was Illary until I learned to write)
