Hi all i have read a few messages about the Bali Sunset Club.I remember my first holiday overseas was with a school friend,we ended up going to Bali through the sunset club.We stayed in the Agung bungalows.I remember the rooms were fan cooled with no fridge or hot water.We each had a foam double mattress even though the rooms would have been 1/2 star,it was without doubt the best holiday ive had.We used to walk every morning to the sunset club headquarters where we had breakfast.I remember it had a pool and sports courts and not much more.We hired a motorbike and rode everywhere,scaring me even now how fast we went without helmets or the consequences of falling off.We spent most night at the Bali sand bar pub and at Norms 747 restaurant where we had a suckling roasted pig.I remember the whole holiday was $425.00.That covered 14 days room,breakfast and dinner,return airfare and transfers.Im interested in hearing anyone else's experiences with the sunset club.I still have their brochure.
